After graduating in the top 10 from Phillipsburg High School in 1974, Debbie went to Warren Hospital’s School of Medical Technology and worked at that hospital for 20 years before returning to school to pursue a career in teaching. She graduated from Centenary College with degrees in Elementary and Special Education and started her teaching career for Warren County Special Services. She was very active in the Lopatcong Education Association and served as the Treasurer and chaired the Fundraising Committee and was named the Teacher of the Year in 2006.
In 2011, she was hired by the Phillipsburg School District as an Elementary Curriculum Director and worked at the Andover Morris School as Principal from 2015-2017. She retired from the Phillipsburg School District in December of 2017.
Debbie became a Rotarian in November of 2020, was appointed Director of Service Projects in 2021, became Vice President in 2022 and President Elect in 2023. The Rotary has become her passion, and she hopes that you join us some day at a meeting to see what it’s all about. Meetings are on Wednesdays at 12:00 at Mainline Event and Catering, and the last Wednesday of the month is a dinner meeting at 6:00.

About The Event
Every Member of the Phillipsburg Rotary is expected to provide one Speaker per year for our weekly program.
This very important, because part of the flavor of a Rotary Meeting is a 1/2 hour Program such as a Speaker who will provide an interesting, informative or humorous talk about any subject that would be of interest to the club.
Most Speakers would be happy to share their story or interesting facts that many of us would be educated by or entertained by.
A list of Speakers is usually available on the District Website. Maybe you know someone who would like a free lunch and likes to talk about an interest8ng hobby or a non profit that is looking for support.
when you find someone who is available on one of the free dates, please let Brian know and also let me know so I can list it on the website and email the membership.
One of the things that attracts new members is a Calendar of interesting Speakers.
Here is a list of the open Dates
Novemer 13th, December 4th, 11th, 18th
All Next Year.
FIND SOMEONE TODAY!
Our club is a proud part of this community and of Rotary International. Rotary is a global network of more than 1.2 million members who believe that great things happen when dedicated minds come together. We are community and business leaders representing different professions, experiences, and perspectives with a shared desire to connect with others to address the challenges affecting our community and communities around the world. Partnering with local, national, and global experts to exchange ideas about possible solutions, we draw up action plans to respond.
Since our start in 1938, our club has offered opportunities for our members - and those interested in making a difference - to get involved. Through meetings, social events, and volunteer projects, such as our Golf Outing and Corks & Forks, we raise funds to support both local and global initiatives. Along with these opportunities to serve, members also are able to regularly network, resulting in lifelong friendships and business connections.
