Service Above Self

Rotary Club members have many opportunities for humanitarian service, both locally and internationally. Service programs address such concerns as health care, hunger, poverty, illiteracy, and the environment. Rotarians experience the fulfillment that comes from giving back to the community.

To All District 7475 Rotarians,
This is a reminder regarding Eat, Drink, and Share. It will be held on Monday, November 12, 2018, at the Pines Manor. Slightly less than two weeks away.
As the event is being held on Veterans Day, we intend to Honor the Veterans, past and present, from our District. Just to be clear, that includes all Rotarians from the former Districts 7510 and 7470. This includes spouses, partners, children and deceased members from your club.
We are asking for a photograph of the individual preferably from their days in the service or from the present. In addition, their name, their club, the branch of service as well as the years they served. This will all be part of a running PowerPoint throughout the evening. Please send all responses to me rayfreany@gmail.com by November 5th. An example is included below.
Additionally, we are looking to do an Online and On-Site silent auction. We ask that all Rotarians consider donating the use of vacation homes, theater tickets, sporting events, sports memorabilia, certificates for services, etc. to be auctioned off. These are very popular items. We could use 2 -3 photos of the item, a description, and the value. Again, kindly respond to me with any questions or donations. The deadline for submission of auction items is November 2nd. On November 5th, we will send out instructions on how to view and bid on the auction items from your smartphone or computer.
Finally, but very important, is an urgent plea to sign up for your Gold Sponsorship and individual tickets. CLICK HERE for a form to fill out and send back. Along with your Gold Sponsorship, we need your club ad. This is the most time-sensitive item of all.
We need to have your ad by November 2nd to make it into the program.
We are excited as we anticipate a memorable event. We hope you will be part of it.
Thank You & Sincere Regards,
Ray Freaney
